We are thrilled to announce that Jan Haugo will be joining team world domination as General Manager (aka Chief Unicorn Wrangler) to support High Rock Accounting and Rebel Rock Accounting’s growth. Jan will be overseeing the accounting operations for these entities, setting technological strategy, and ensuring exceptional client service.

Jan is a natural fit on the team as she aligns directly with the team’s culture, sense of humor, work ethic, and fundamental respect of humans. Jan embraces the two-fold mission of Founder Liz Mason – to utilize cutting edge technology and facilitate strong career opportunities without sacrificing life experiences. Jan has an extensive background in the accounting industry and brings a great deal of talent and experience to the team. She will be merging the clients of Jan Haugo & Associates LLC, which she has been building since 2006, into High Rock.

While developing a passion for the bookkeeping industry during Jan’s journey, she became Founder / CEO of ICBUSA and sat on the board of ICBGlobal. Here she helped create standardized recognition and certification for global bookkeepers. With the industry evolution of technology, Jan has implemented and worked with several Regional and National accounting and bookkeeping firms. The goals have been to create standardization and integration using education and cloud technology to advance the firms into the next generation of accounting. With the drive to help others in the bookkeeping industry, she has been a leader in helping start Facebook Groups, such as USA Bookkeeping Community and Bookkeeping Revolution; it is here that Jan leads the industry into new technology. Jan’s recognition has come in many forms, such as one of the Top 25 Most Influential Women in Accounting from CPA Practice Advisor, Hubdoc top 50 Cloud Accountants, Member of the Intuit Trainer Writer Network. She has written many articles for industry publications such as Intuit blogs, Entreprenuer.com, Insightful Accountant, and Accounting Today.
