High Rock Accounting is over the moon to announce the addition of Luke Frye to team #CPAWorldDomination! He will be joining us as Collector of Business Cards, Appointment Getter, and Schmoozing Guru by taking on Business Development across both High Rock and Rebel Rock entities and The Department.Tax. Luke will be vital in helping to maintain the considerable growth rate experienced throughout our brands, and we are excited to have his experience contribute to our innovation of the industry.

Luke’s first job out of college was as the only accountant for a city. Handwriting journal entries to be approved and stamped and saved in the basement for decades to come was a wake-up call that led him quickly to a more contemporary method of the practice of accounting at Bench.co. Systems and automation have always been a foundational value to focus more on the relationships and connections with stakeholders. He built Timber, a web-based tax advisory company that helps single-owner businesses keep more of their income through savvy business planning and entity optimization. After the last ten years at startups and his bootstrapped company, Luke is ready to focus on building and growing relationships with High Rock and our clients. With his innate drive to succeed and take the initiative, Luke will help improve our market positions by developing lasting relationships with potential clients.

Luke shares his excitement by adding, “I am particularly excited at helping business owners in the Cannabis world get and stay compliant under Rebel Rock. Accounting doesn’t have to be scary, and this industry needs our help as CPAs and professionals more now than ever. Being empathetic, relatable, and solution-oriented are the key tools I employ. There is so much opportunity in the virtual accounting and back-office space for really cool clients, and Liz has a clear vision that is inspiring and challenging. I can’t wait to see what we can do together!”
