Our Workshop training is designed for firm owners looking to cultivate their entrepreneurial skills thereby growing their book of business.

Drawing on fundamental concepts, the workshop is designed to help participants to develop creative and critical thinking, effective problem solving, communication, team management, and other entrepreneurship skills that will help enable their success.

WORKSHOP CONTENT

MARKETING

To have the best chance of success you will need to invest in marketing. This investment goes beyond just buying marketing tools but being able to tell your firms story through solid branding. Learn to leverage your social channels to build brand awareness and showcase your firm’s content creation (articles, blogs, videos, etc).

NETWORKING

Networking allows you to exchange information quickly and easily, while increasing your efficiency and effectiveness. It can also open up new opportunities for collaboration and career development. Learn to plan your networking actions in order to make the most of social opportunities.

CONSULTATIVE SALES

The concept of sales can be anxiety inducing to some, and exciting for others. No matter how you feel about sales, you are going to need to learn how to be effective in that skill set in order to grow you book of business. Learn a more conversational, getting to know your potential client approach that is focused on their needs.

REFERRALS

Accountants love referrals, and they remain one of the most effective marketing methods for them. But how do you get more? Learn how and when to ask, as well as how to capitalize on them throughout all your networks.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Improve your skills and abilities as leaders with focus on emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, learning different leadership styles, conflict and change management, delegation, and of course effective communication.

FACILITATION

A facilitator plans, guides, and manages a group or event to ensure that the objectives are met effectively, with clear thinking, good participation, and buy-in from everyone involved. Learn to not only to design and plan the meeting, but to guide and control the group.
